Ben A Harlow
Interim Head Coach
Starting 2001, has been Head Age Group Coach with ConocoPhillips Splash Club in Bartlesville and Head Coach for the High School Bruin team for the past eight years. He has been able to coach such wonderfully great athletes at so many different levels. Ben swam for 16 years, through college, gaining awards and accolades, but more importantly learning how to be a team leader. He took what he had learned and went on to be Head Coach for 8 ½ more years (plus assistant High School and College coach) in Illinois, before landing in the great State of Oklahoma. Coach Harlow has been awarded the 2003, 2004, 2006, and 2010 Age Group Coach of the Year. Ben is also a High School Conference, Region, and All-State Coach of the Year. 2010 was his 9th year as Coach of the Oklahoma Zone Team, 8 of them as Head Coach. It has been a pleasure for him to be able to travel to so many States with such fine athletes, Zone Directors, and coaches in his career. Long time professional membership in swimming organizations, such as ASCA, YMCA, NISCA, and USA Swimming, really help cultivate his need for betterment. Elected Vice President within the LSC, dealing with athlete, coaching, other committees, and meet concerns, Ben continues to give of himself to better the sport he loves. He is dedicated to the preservation and growth of this wonderful club, this great State, and the sport of swimming!
